Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This policy lists every cookie PublishJourney sets, and why. There are not many.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them to keep you signed in and to remember two preferences. We do not use them to track you across other websites.
This policy forms part of our Privacy Policy.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the service to function. If you block them, you cannot sign in or use an account.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session token | Identifies you as signed in. | Set at sign-in, cleared at sign-out or on expiry |
| CSRF token | Confirms that a form submission originated from this site and not from another. | Session |
| Callback URL | Records where to return you after sign-in. | Session |
pj_impersonation | Set only when an administrator is viewing the product as a user, for support purposes. It exists on staff sessions, not on yours. We list it because a cookie that allows someone to act as you is one you are entitled to know about. | 30 minutes, not renewed |
3. Preference cookies
These remember a setting you have chosen, so the site does not reset itself on each visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Whether you want the site in English or Arabic. Set when you use the language switcher. | 1 year |
Your theme choice (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. It does not reach our servers.
4. What we do not use
There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party tracking pixels on this site. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent service.
Nothing we set follows you to other websites, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.
5. Consent
We do not display a cookie banner. Every cookie listed above is either strictly necessary for the service to work, or a preference you have set yourself. Because we set no tracking or advertising cookies, there is nothing here to opt out of.
6. Managing cookies
You can view, clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. Blocking the preference cookie simply means the site will not remember your language.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add or change a cookie, we will update this page and, where the change materially affects you, tell you in the product. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
